Yes, there will be a clicking sound when you type. It's like a punk retro typewriter keyboard, with backlight.

Q: Can i turn off the keyboard lights? And any other color light options?

You can turn the lights off, as far as other light options im not sure about that. i just cycled through the different color patterns but i think you can choose a solid backlight color for the keyboard.

Q: can the lights turn to just plain white?

No, it is colorful. You can press FN+INS to explore more lighting effects.
