Warning: I am rating these for juggling, not as throwing axes.I don’t throw axes; I juggle them. And these are great. Are they beefy and heavy? Oh yeah. Do they arrive sharp? Also, yes. Are the handles perfect? They’re a bit hard and the taper is harsh on the hand. I wrapped mine with some grip tape and they got much more pleasant.All that said: these are real axes. They’re great. They can take hits and drops. They look great. I would definitely buy them again.

Bought these last week after going to our local throwing axe place and used them for the first time last night. I threw them about 50 times with no issues whatsoever. They stick nicely, easy to throw both 1 handed and 2. Even after a couple of bad throws, they were in the same shape as they arrived. Nothing loose or chipped or anything.The only negative I have is that I noticed in the pics of others, that their axes had 2 pins holding the head on, mine only had 1 and there were no other spare pins in the box. They really should be double pinned, but oh well, they did well for me last night. Will continue to throw with them. Just be aware that you may get a set that is only single pinned and no spare pins in the box.

The axe heads are a solid, sharp and nicely balanced, the handles "look" nice, but with less than 10 throws each (3 throws from the worst, left most in pic), the heads have slid down the handle, shredding the wood along with it. In just 3 throws, the worst has slide over 1/2'/". If you haft your own throwing axes then I'm sure you could easily swap out the handles with better wood. But I didn't buy the product for the heads.

Got these axes for splitting firewood, and wow, they get the job done! Super sharp right out of the box and the weight feels just right—heavy enough to split but not too much to tire you out fast. Handles feel solid no slipping. If you need a solid, no-nonsense axe, this is it.
