This play food set is a brilliant addition to my granddaughter’s little kitchen! She loves chopping the fruit and veg, and how they ‘click’ together is surprisingly satisfying. The variety is great—loads of different foods to spark her imagination. I also love that it’s all safe, sturdy, and easy to clean (a win for the adults). If I had to nitpick, I’d say the pieces are light, but they’ve stood up to severe playtime. Overall, it’s a fantastic set for the price and has provided hours of fun!

My kids really enjoy playing with the Niurome 40pcs play food set. They love cutting the fruits with the plastic knives and serving them on the little plates. It's nice that the set comes with 4 plates, 2 knives, 2 trays, and a variety of fruits and veggies, so more kids can join in the fun. It definitely keeps them entertained for a while!The only small downside I noticed is the Velcro closure on the fruits. I think magnetic closures would have made the play experience even better, but overall, it's still a great set for pretend play.

This is a really nice set the box becomes a play mat type thing and it comes with a sort of posting box you can make.All the items can be put in the bag provided and there is a good selection of food items to cut.My lemon was damaged in the post but I’m still giving it 5 stars as it’s great fun

The pretend food comes in a lovely box, well presented. The food itself is great, there is a good assortment and you are able to cut the fruit with the pretty pink pretend knife. The set includes plates x 4, a cutting board x 2, two pretend knives, extra Velcro patches which is how the food is attached to the other half. The set is so colorful and the food is quite realistic looking in shapes. This is a lovely set that would suit a 2 year old and above. I would definitely recommend this set as it offers many hours of play for boys or girls alike.

So after unboxing this and putting all the pieces together and having a play, I asked my three-year-old if he liked it and he said ‘ It’s a really good toy’ And I don’t disagree.At first at all it was just a normal food chopping activity - But then we kept discovering new ways to play.The food included in this set is hollow and plastic but the detail in the shaping and colour of the fruits and foods make up for the otherwise plastic hollow nature of the food. The Velcro holding each side of the food together is sturdy and you get small chopping boards, knives and plates to assist in chopping the food.Included in the box are a number of sticky Velcro dots. These are to be attached to the box and once the food has been chopped you can attach the food to the box and it helps to teach about where food comes from. You get more sticky dots than there are places to put them but you can get creative and put them wherever you want.At the very bottom of the box you find the hard card pieces that can be used to build a bigger box for a shape sorting activity. The card of this bigger box is firm but will bend under pressure. It was a little bit fiddly to slot the sides together to create a box but not difficult. My toddler wasn’t able to pop out perforated shapes himself, so we played together as he sorted the food into the right holes.Altogether the different ways you can play with this toy really make it good and engaging. My three-year-old loved it.
